Our Works

Together for a Greener Tomorrow

At Yayasan Orangutan Hijau Kalimantan (YOHK), our mission is simple: to protect the orangutans and preserve the rich rainforests of Borneo. We are committed to creating a sustainable future where both wildlife and people thrive together. Through innovative programs and community-driven solutions, we are making a lasting impact on Borneo’s unique ecosystem.

What We Do

We will use every donation we receive to preserve orangutan habitat areas. We also freed up the area to be managed as a natural sanctuary for orangutans whose land ownership rests with the foundation.

We build and establish free learning huts so that all communities around the National Park area receive education to support the improvement of Human Resources and welfare for themselves and their families.

We believe that conservation begins with people. By partnering with local communities, we promote sustainable livelihoods, encourage eco-friendly practices, and empower the next generation of environmental stewards.
